The Belfast Film Festival is delighted to celebrate the life and times of Michael Open, administrator of the QFT from 1968 to 2004. No-one has contributed more to the cultural cinematic life of the city than Michael, who, over the years has screened thousands of films and has brought us the very best of world, european and Irish cinema. In this candid interview with Brian Henry Martin, Michael will answer your questions and also talk openly about his thirty five years at the QFT. He will reveal secrets from behind the screen, discuss his personal highs and lows, as well as debate the future of this much loved cinema.
