Director Daniel O’Hara and Director of Photography Fergal O’Hanlon talk about their award winning short film Yu Ming Is Animn Dom. This was Daniel’s first short and has won over 17 awards on the local and international stage including 2004 Aspen Shortsfest – Best Comedy, 2004 Celtic Film and Televison Festival – First Time Director Award and 2003 Cork International Film Festival – Audience Award, IFTA Best Irish Language Production 2004.
Daniel and Fergal will screen their short and talk about the initial idea, realisation with a tiny budget, casting and making a short film in digital.
Daniel’s second short Fluent Dysphasia has been short listed for the 2005 Jameson Short Film Award in association with Kodak at this year’s festival.
