| | | | | | |  | | | | | | | | | | The Festival kicks off with Danis Tanovic’s film Triage on Thursday (15th) in the Moviehouse, Dublin Road at 7pm starring Colin Farrell and Christopher Lee.
There is still time to get your tickets for what promises to be a great Opening Night Premiere.
Other highlights over the 16 days of festival includes the only cinematic screening of Conor McPherson’s The Eclipse, starring Ciarán Hinds, who is attending the screening on Friday 23rd April at the QFT.
Also premiering the next day at the QFT is the highly visual ensemble drama Five Day Shelter, by Irish director Ger Leonard starring John Lynch. John will also be attending the screening as well as giving an acting Master-class earlier in the day.
Other gems include, never seen before music documentaries about The Doors, Nick Cave and Neil Young.
Check out the amazing line-up of thought provoking films in the Same Sex Cinema strand; ive music delights within the Sound and Vision strand include, experimental Danish pop band Efterklang and San Francisco’s Wooden Shjips.
With over 30 UK/Irish premieres in a jam-packed programme, with 125 screenings and events across Belfast there is something for everyone.
