The Belfast Film Festival Drive-In is back by popular demand for two nights only. We will once again erect our giant screen at the Titanic Quarter Paint Hall and our audience will tune into the film sound on their car radios. Tickets for this event are strictly limited so book early! CATERING facilities will be available on site.
When Harry Met Sally tracks a star-crossed pair as they repeatedly drift apart and meet again over a span of 13 years and gradually fall madly, deeply, passionately into friendship, a friendship ever teetering on the edge of love. Meeting for the first time as they leave college, Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) share the long drive to New York and immediately fall in hatred. But they keep bumping into one another every few years and even become close friends - despite Harry asserting that it’s impossible for men and women to be platonic.
Can Harry and Sally remain mere friends, or will they, must they, fall in love? And can anyone forget Ryan’s classic faking-it scene in Katz’s Deli?
Dir. Rob Reiner – 1989 - 99 minutes - PG - 20th Century Fox
