A poor family in Bangladesh find themselves blessed with an unexpected windfall however they’re not quite sure what to do with it.

Fazlu sells dubious medicines at local fairs, but can barely support his family. His daughter has a bad leg and needs special care, and his son, Ratan, is growing fast. So when Fazlu’s wife finds money in a pair of secondhand trousers bought for Ratan, the whole family is thrilled. It looks like they have come into a fortune, but the money is in a foreign currency they’ve never seen before. They think that these currency notes to be of great value but they are ignorant of how to exchange them so they seek help from Fazlu’s childhood friend Siraj. Hoping to cash the currency notes Fazlu and Siraj ride a ram shackle motor bike through the rugged land-scape of Barendra Bhumi. One after another their dormant desires and deceptions begin to creep up and that changes the relationships among them.

On the Wings of Dreams is based on love, dreams and happiness but at the heart of it is one family - their enduring struggles and their small victories.
