Who needs CGI? Redirection present Two Classic 3D films, specs provided.
First up we have Robot Monster, pure trash nirvana. Director Phil Tucker remarked on his classic; ‘For the budget and for the time I felt I had achieved greatness’. For his 3-D effort, Tucker simply lifted large chunks of Hal Roach’s 1940 prehistoric romp, One Million BC, and re-cut it with some truly appalling original footage. The last six people on Earth have to confront a terrible alien; A man in a gorilla suit with a diving helmet and a bubble machine. Robot Monster is a triumph of ineptitude, a bona fide turkey that deserves to be served up on the same table as anything by Ed Wood.
Next up we have one of the classics of the 3D genre; Creature from the Black Lagoon. A scientific expedition searching for fossils along the Amazon River discover a prehistoric Gill-Man in the legendary Black Lagoon. The Gill-Man returns to kidnap the lovely Kay, fiancée of one of the expedition, centuries of passion have pent up in his savage heart!
Popcorn and Hotdogs on sale.
